Hot Dog Stew – Camping, Dehydrator
8 cups any variety stock or water
8 oz. (tiny bow) pasta
3 Hot Dogs - any variety, finely chopped
1 Bell Pepper, minced (optional)
3 cups spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

Bring stock or water to a rolling boil in a large pot, stir in pasta, and return to a boil; then add chopped hot dogs and Bell Pepper. Cook for 7 minutes, or until pasta is tender, do not drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and cayenne pepper. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.

You may serve at this time, or you may:
Spread onto Solid Fruit Roll Sheets, place in your Nesco®/American Harvest® dehydrator on dehydrator trays, and dehydrate for approximately 6 hours at 145 degrees.

To re-hydrate, cover with water just above level of food in pot, boil, and serve.
