Pork Ribs - 8Qt. Slow Cooker

3 to 4 (1 lb.) baby back pork ribs
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 Tbs. paprika
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. cayenne
1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper
1 tsp. thyme
1 (15 oz.) can Barbecue sauce

Coat inner walls of cooking pot with non-stick spray or cooking oil. Combine all of the dry seasonings and rub over the rib meat. Stack ribs vertically in the cooking pot, with the larger cut bone side down and leaning against each other. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 6 to 8 hours. Remove cover and dab barbecue sauce on ribs. Cover, turn heat to HIGH setting and cook an additional 30 minutes or until well glazed.
